HAMMOND—The Walker Lady Cats outlasted St. Thomas 39-35 to win the Lady Falcons

one fan tossed for bad behavior. Albany took advantage of a Loranger team missing two
starters to win the consolation game 43-37.
Albany 43 , Loranger 37
The Albany Lady Hornets took advantage 33 tries from the
charity strip scoring 25 points to secure a 43-37 win over Loranger in the
Consolation game. The Lady Wolves were limited with the absence of two senior

Walker 39, St. Thomas 35
In a contest dominated by stellar defensive play by both

The Lady Falcons opened up an early 7-4 lead at the 4:33 mark

throw, Casey Buie hit a short jumper to extend the St. Thomas lead to four at
30-26. Walker got a lay-up by Fohne and a pair of free throws by Morgan
Melancon to tie the score at 30. The Lady Falcons answered with a three-pointer
by DiMiceli, but it would their final lead of the game as Walker outscored St.
