Indy’s Caleisha Johnson scored 15 of her 20 total points in the first half helping the Lady Tigers take a 33-23 lead at the half. Sumner outscored Indy 15-14 in the third period to get within nine, but solid shooting performances from Antionette McKnight and Kevondia Roberts, who finished with 16 and 13 points respectively, helped to seal the deal for the Lady Tigers.
    L. Strickland was the fourth Lady Tiger in double figures with 10. Cally Ballard was tops for Sumner with 15 points followed by Lacius Dyson who added 13 more.
In the opening game the Lady Raiders of Pine made quick work of the Mt. Herman Lady Yellow Jackets cruising to a 55-31 win on the strength of Rolanda Bickham’s 19-point scoring. Juane White was also in double digits for the Lady Raiders
