Thank you for stopping by for a visit. This website is dedicated
to highlighting Tangipahoa Parish boys’ and girls’ prep basketball. Every week we will
feature a local tournament or game of the week on the site.

For most of us, high school athletics is pure and simple.
There is a more pleasant sense of tradition—high schools invite parents and supporters
onto the fields and courts to share in their children’s accomplishments and to be part
of the “entertainment” rather than just watching it.
At TangiHoops.com we share the belief that sports at this
level is just plain fun. We hope that this website will bring added attention
to local prep basketball via the internet and capture the motion, the intensity,
and the exhilaration of individual athletes in action.
